Billing and Refund Policy
Last updated: August 13, 2026
This page is a plain-language summary of how billing, cancellation, and refunds work for Workly subscriptions. It is part of, and subject to, the Workly Terms of Service; if anything here conflicts with the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service control. The Service is operated by Workly LLC, 1021 E Lincolnway, Suite #9696, Cheyenne, Wyoming 82001, United States.
Where you are billed
- iOS app: billed by Apple through your Apple Account.
- Android app: billed by Google through Google Play.
- Web (getworkly.io): billed by Workly through our payment processor, Stripe.
Auto-renewal and cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access to paid features until then. We do not provide prorated refunds for the remainder of a billing period after you cancel, except where the law requires.
How to cancel:
- iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Workly, or App Store → your profile → Subscriptions.
- Android: Google Play Store → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Workly.
- Web: your Workly account settings, or email [email protected] from the email on your account.
Deleting the app from your device does not cancel a subscription.
Free trials
Some plans include a free trial; if so, the trial length is shown before you sign up. Your paid subscription starts automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel before then (for App Store purchases, at least 24 hours before the trial ends). Unless stated otherwise, trials are limited to one per user, and any unused trial time is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Not all plans include a trial.
Refunds
- App Store purchases: refunds are decided and issued by Apple under Apple's policies. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Workly cannot issue refunds for purchases billed by Apple.
- Google Play purchases: refunds are governed by Google Play's refund policies. Request one through the Play Store or Google support.
- Web purchases (Stripe): except where required by applicable law, payments are non-refundable, and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods, unused features, or downgrades. If you believe you were charged in error, contact [email protected] and we will review it.
- EU/UK consumers: if you are a consumer in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, you may have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for distance purchases. Performance of the service begins immediately upon purchase at your request; if you withdraw within the 14-day period, you may be charged a proportionate amount for the service provided before withdrawal, to the extent permitted by law. To exercise this right, email [email protected] within 14 days of purchase.
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable statutory rights you have under the laws of your place of residence.
Failed payments (web)
If a web subscription charge fails, we may retry it, and we may suspend or downgrade your access to paid features until payment is made.
Price changes
We may change subscription prices. For renewing subscriptions, changes take effect no earlier than the next billing period after we notify you, and, where required, only with your consent. If you do not agree, cancel before the new price takes effect.
Taxes
Prices may be exclusive of applicable taxes (such as sales tax, VAT, or GST), which may be added at checkout or by the applicable app store.
Fees on payments you accept from your customers
If you use Workly's payment features to collect payments from your customers, Stripe's processing fees and any Workly platform fee are disclosed in the Service before you enable or use those features. These fees are separate from your subscription and are described in Section 5 of the Terms of Service.
